The Richard family continues the tradition of the wine since 3 generations and surrounded itself with a team where each one brings his expertise.
The arrival of François Clauzel (winemaker and manager) in 2002 brought new methodology in vineyard management in order to reveal the identity and characteristics of each plot. He took these into account when harvesting and doing the final blending. He also introduced ways to limit yields.
He is helped in his mission by Thomas Levet, agricultural engineer, to limit the use of synthetic products and favor life in soil and microfauna.
In the winery, vinifications are supervised by Eric Boissenot (consulting oenologist for top chateaus in the Médoc) who help the family to go even further in the selection process and in the pursuit of quality.
